The 11th celebration of “Lorraine Mondial Air Ballons” sounds exciting. One will find the success of our previous meetings: the double line (mass ascents); the night inflation show; competition with the “New Century Cup” (gas balloons challenge) and other special challenges.

We will pay as ever special attention to our guests, the pilots,. At their disposal on site, tourism information, bars, restaurants, in fact in a whole village is ready to welcome them. A privileged entrance between gas and briefing will allow them a better access.  More night entertainment sessions, more dedicated moments to facilitate communication among nations.
Our 170 partners (the Partner’s Circle), which always support and sponsor Lorraine Mondial Air Ballons, will take advantage of dedicated services in the VIP village. By the launch field, they can receive their clients and guests.

For visitors, many entertainments will be proposed on the ground and in the air, virtual, static and dynamic like “A Space Journey 3A: Aeronautics, Aerospace, and Astronomy” will be installed but also more services, welcome, information, restaurants, pubs, merry-go-rounds.
Chambley Airbase has undergone many changes over the last years to welcome more people. You may enjoy the show along the 850 meters balcony facing the hot-air balloon launch field. Music and concerts will be part of the event too.
At your arrival, you will be amazed and discover a new platform without old buildings. A modified site, where the Lorraine Regional Council develops an aeronautical project.

There is no doubt, during 10 days, Chambley Airbase will be the place to be for balloonists and lovers of all flying machines with the slogan: “Aux Portes des Etoiles”. We are forecasting a brilliant weather for the two daily hot-air balloon mass ascents. A breathtaking show and an international crossroads of pilots&crews who will live in the heart of Lorraine.
